Hi,
The Agfa flatbed with separate drawer that I know is the DuoScan, which is
a 1000dpi scanner that cost US2500 here in Hong Kong. Is the $700 one a new
model? For scanning 6x6 at 1000dpi, which can provide around 2200x2200
pixels, that is good for a 8x8 inch print. But for scanning 35mm slide, it
is a bit less.
The Minolta Dimage Scan Mulit is a very good scanner that can scan 35mm
slide at 2820dpi and up to 6x8(or 9?) at 1128dpi, but it cost around
US2000.
