There are more entries this time, and I think the quality is better
too. Very eclectic selections of photographs. And all from 50mm lenses
(except for one scofflaw who *swears* he used his zoom at 50! We'll let
him slide this time, eh?). I think this has been a wonderful idea.
I also wrote a pretty basic Perl script so that we could leave comments
on each page if we want. This should keep list traffic about it to a
minimum (so we can concentrate on SUVs :>) Many submitters specifically
asked for comments. No one said don't. If anyone doesn't want
comments, let me know and I'll remove the code from that page. I've
started some commentary off, so go for it.
I left off the photographer's identity as I did on the first go-round.
I thought this time it was a little more appropriate that we *don't*
know who took an image before we comment on it. I plan to put up the
identities in a week or two, sooner if I receive enuf requests. Makers'
identities may well come out in commentary if they choose to when
answering questions.
I think I tested it pretty good, but please let me know off list of any
problems you encounter and I'll get on it, but not til Sunday or Monday
cause I'm headin out to waste some film.
