Every mid July thru mid August , the cicada's come crawling out of the
ground at night. They can be found hanging from our apple tree. By morning
most have dried out and are able to fly away (or risk getting eaten by a
squirrel)

This summer, it's supposed to be the worst ever, and, I've been told they
are a different type of cicada.
