Same here :(
That's why I'd preferred to bother someone (a good friend of mine) to make a
possible CLA in the future... but as John had predicted, the moment never
showed up as OM-2 suffered a sudden short-circuit death.
It also hapenned during '02, when trying to repair my 508-24 in Buenos
Aires, under warranty. I managed to do it, taking it personally to the
sevice centre and waited for them to finish the repair, but had to give lots
of explanations in the meanwhile.
