I found this comment in the V700/V750 forum on the site, maybe a search
or a posting there will answer your question better and probably much
quicker than I could ;-).

ICE on that scanner is not rated to work on Kodachrome. Many people use
it though and find it works well enough for them. It can be hit or miss
depending on which generation of Kodachrome you are scanning. You can
try it, but if you are having problems, ICE could be the cause. ICE does
not work on traditional b/w film either.
