Hi Moose,
Negligence galore. I did not properly thank you for the Hood. THANKS!
I think it must go along with the 50/1.4 to Mallorca and Aragon. What else is
still up in the air.
I am fretting on how to make the cuts already (3 mos away).

Hi Moose,
Figures; the package was waiting for me at home after work--9PM as usual. I'll
have to study the difference in the adaptall 2 adapters more when its not so
late. All arrived in good shape.
Oh, Bart sent me the hood for the 135mm macro too---arrived today too. Nothing
like a couple of OM packages to cheer up a day.
I believe OBD is made by the Smuttynose brewerey. If you would like to try any
other of their concoctions, just give me a ping as well.

arrived OK. Worried that the USPS fouled up. No problem, other than a slow to
respond moose.
No adapter or hood emergency here. Will likely bring the hood on next trip in
May. Enjoy!
Wish I had more time to exercise my OM's and post to the list; I
nonetheless always catch up with your posts. Oh, had my n=2 Newcastle brown
vs OBD test. According to my olfactory-gustometer the MTF ( Malt To hops
Function) was clearly won by OBD. I had a Newcastle draft at the proper
temperature. I do like both, though must give the edge to OBD. I like the malty
character a bit better. That's my recollection as well. I also thought there
was a difference in sweetness, with OBD either a little less sweet or a
different character to the the sweetness that I like better. May be the
different nature of the bitterness component from the hops side.
If you would like a larger sample size, I can stop at a special large store
which is on my way home from Boston on most Wednesdays. LOL! Thanks for the
offer. I'll let you know. My beer drinking has transformed over the last few
years to more emphasis on quality and less on quantity. :-) Carlo Anne and I
sometimes split a beer with dinner. Her ..um.. experience with beer is much
less extensive than mine and she has only recently discovered really great
pilsners, like Urquell, Spaten, and now Trummer, which is now made here in
Berkeley as well as Austria.. That's a good thing, as before she tended towards
Old Peculiar, Guiness, etc. which are a bit thick for me on any regular basis.
Now she's on the light and heavy ends, but hasn't grown into ales yet. ;-)
So I'm drinking ale sparingly just now.
