Doing my bit for the planet....I am thinking of changing my car...top
of the list is a Mercedes Benz C36 AMG... 3.6L, 5 speed auto. 286BHP.
It is 10 years old with 125,000mls, but mileage should not be a
problem. This car is a collaboration between Mercedes and AMG racing
division and is a "bit special"
I can just about live with 27/32 mpg. for the sort of mileage I do
(approx 7/8000 per year) although petrol at £4.50 a gallon - and rising
hurts!
What I really want is advice regarding Auto transmission..how do people
on the list rate it. I must admit I have next to no experience with
auto..always driving a manual..and wonder how I will cope? Comments appreciated.
