Mike,

I had a hint of the problem when I used my Fotodiox adapter to mount my 
200/4 Takumar on my E-510.  The Fotodiox is also a 2-piece adapter.  When I 
felt the first hint of looseness, I snugged up all of the screws and have 
been careful since then when heavy lenses were in use.

I'm told that some adapters are made in one piece, but I don't have a list 
of the suppliers.
