John, good point about the soft release posing a hazard to your
camera. I'll be mindful of this whenever I put my camera in a tight
space (camera bag, my wife's purse, etc.). Now it makes more sense
why the designers of the OM gave the shutter release such a low
profile and put a "guard" around it.
